Online Training Events and Embedded CPD Projects
As a leaders of learning who operate with an indivisibility of principles, we continually reflect upon our own journey. The global pandemic of 2020/21 created an opportunity to explore how our Training Events and Embedded CPD could move online...whilst still retaining the same quality of experience and impact in settings.
Always place the pedagogy, the principles and the learning at the centre. Carefully select the online platform and tools to suit the purpose. Embed them in the process. Avoid the temptation to use a scattergun approach. Sometimes less is more.

After extensive research into online learning, including a variety of platforms where you could purchase 'space' to hold your training elements, we decided to retain control by designing and building our own training website. More work - maybe? However, it enabled us to keep our own 'Single Steps' ethos and we definitely learned new skills!
