This online training will consist of a series of linked learning experiences that aim to connect with those undertaken during DfL STEP ONE (either in-person or online), whilst achieving a greater depth of understanding.
DEPTH - CHALLENGE - APPLICATION
The training will consist of a mixture of synchronous and asynchronous elements, all underpinned by the Five Key Concepts. This means that we will all be online at the same time for parts of each day, whilst also having the opportunity to complete some elements individually and in small groups at your own pace.
We strongly advise that you treat this online course as if you were attending an in-person event. The sessions will be continuous and progressive - not a 'drop-in' approach.
Find a place to join where you can immerse yourself in the experience.

When will the training take place?
Traditionally, STEP TWO has taken place over three consecutive days. We are still able to provide this format. However, moving to an online version gives the opportunity to offer more flexibility in the future. Participants need to have completed DfL STEP ONE prior to joining STEP TWO - either in-person or online.
Day Four
This is always referred to as Day Four - a continuation of the previous 3-day training event.
|
Day Five
This is always referred to as Day Five - a continuation of the previous 3-day training event.
|
Day Six
This is always referred to as Day Six - a continuation of the previous 3-day training event.
|
The online training elements will be arranged in sections for each of the days on this training website. Each section builds upon the one before, so we would ask that participants engage with each element in sequence. You do not need to have previous knowledge of the online learning platforms, just an enthusiasm to engage with them. As you have previously participated in our 'in person' or 'online' training, you will be familiar with our design process and the types of experiences involved during our training events. We want to keep the integrity of 'Designing for Learning' and use the same principles within our online approach. |
